The Segerstrom Jaguars started their league season with a disappointing tie against the Seahawks Wednesday afternoon. Despite Lisandro Orozco's 2 disallowed goals (offside & out of bounds), Ray Estrada hitting the post, Josh Cubillo's miss from close range, and Albert Acosta's multiple chances in a flurry during the first overtime, the Jaguars were only able to manage one goal. Scoring leader Ray Estrada followed up his own rebound off of the crossbar to muscle in the tying shot.

Ocean View scored in the beginning of the second half in a hard worked goal which came against the run of play, and held on until Eastrada's strike with 8 minutes to go.With the momentum going into the overtime period the Jaguars looked poised to come away with a victory, but the home team's defense held strong to earn a point for both teams.
